My name is Danielle Calore and I have been living on the Outer Banks of North Carolina for over 10 years now.
  Originally from New Jersey, my family would vacation here every summer at our little A-frame down in Waves. When I was old enough, i decided not to go home one year while on vacation...hey, dreams only come true if you dare to pursue them, right?

Coastal Adventures Photography came about after working at a local riding barn on Hatteras Island for a few years. I had been involved with horses in some way, shape or form since I was ten years old and this job was every little girl's dream! I had the opportunity to share my love of the island and horses with the amazing people i met while working at Equine Adventures on. Guests always asked us if we could take pics of them on horseback while out on the beach during the rides, which we gladly obliged. Something was missing though. That PERFECT shot of a guest running down the beach, grinning ear to ear! So Coastal Adventures Photography was born & I began taking pics of the beach portion of the rides. It has become such a huge hit that it is all I can do to keep up with everyone during the busy season, but I would never trade it for the world! The beach and the barn are my office...who else can honestly say that or complain?! 

  I love this island! From the beauty and seclusion of the island to the friendly people and constant array of outdoor activities, I am constantly on the go exploring and capturing the moments that move me. I have never once regreted the move, and will never head back north! I am officially a beach lovin', horse ridin' country girl!!

Between photographing riders at Equine Adventures to private photo sessions on and off the island, a day off is a rare occasion during the busy season! When I have a moment to enjoy the beautiful weather, if I'm not on horseback you can find me exploring somewhere on the islands, camera in hand of course, with the family in tow!
